External Pneumatic Air Vibrators combine high frequencies with high centrifugal forces. Vibrators are operated with filtered compressed air. They require minimal maintenance and they are successfully used as flow aids on bins, as drives for chutes or screens, and on vibrating tables. Working principle: Vibration is generated due to an unbalanced turbine. When air flows it exerts a force on the blades of the turbine. Depending on the mass of the turbine it rotates as a certain speed. The turbine is made unbalanced due to which on every rotation of the turbine, a vibration is produced. The vibration frequency of the pneumatic turbine vibrator could be regulated by varying the air pressure. |

External Piston type Vibrators as the name suggest uses a piston to produce vibrations of a certain amplitude. These are particularly suitable for conveying, compacting and detaching of bulk solids due to perfectly linear vibrations. They reach optimum results in emptying of bins or as drives for vibrating conveyors or feeders. Working principle: Pneumatic Piston Air Vibrators are essentially piston oscillators. The piston is made to oscillate to and fro by a positive feedback signal. The oscillations are generated by impact vibrations. The oscillations of the piston are cushioned at one end and free at the other, malleting continuously. The high frequency of the malleting motion produces vibrations. Piston Air vibrators have been developed for applications requiring "Linear pulsating Force". They can be used for promoting material flow from small hoppers, down feed pipes and chutes and as prime over for screen, Feeders, compaction and testing table etc. |
